Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow

The world will tremble this September!

This film was billed last year as the pinnicle of Artistic Cinematogrpahy and Computer Technology. The result is not quite that good, but it's still a fantastic watch. Lots of fun and quick action scenes help pad out the slightly weak story line.

Set in the 1930's it centres around Sky Captain (Jude Law) who has on a number of occasions saved the world from evil people and now he must do it again. A series of clues from mostly dead people lead him across a variety of adventures from flying through the streets of New York to hovering airbases (with Angeline Jolie being English again... aghhh!!) underwater, secret hideouts, and big flying robot things that are going to take over the world.

Worth a watch, so come on down to the Uniplex and enjoy.
